Research progressed smoothly, and the team was pleased with the level of cooperation it received from its subject. They learned that the creature was actually quite intelligent, and that it was only because of its animal instincts that it attacked. It was merely looking out for its survival, by any means necessary. They also learned that it could somehow tell that it was subjugated, that it only cooperated because it disliked pain, and that it would attack mercilessly were it only given the chance.
